📊 Community Engagement: Rediscover Riverside Meeting
Last night, we had the privilege of doing a presentation at the Rediscover Riverside community meeting. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, giving us the opportunity to present our powerpoint explaining the technical and policy issues—especially the critical lack of proper sound analyzers at City Hall.
Bonus: Councilman Golombek was in the audience! It was an excellent opportunity to discuss how these missing tools are a key barrier to enforcement. Interestingly, someone pointed out that this enforcement issue also affects the North Tonawanda bitcoin mining noise campaign—we might have an opportunity to join forces and amplify our voices.

While the Department of Permits and Inspections still doesn’t have the proper analyzers, they’ve graciously agreed to a more thorough investigation. But for them to act, they need to know the scope of the problem:
📍 If you believe the noise is coming from Wieland (The Brass): Report 70 Sayre St.
📍 If you think it’s Materion: Report 2978 Main St.
The more reports we file, the clearer the message: Buffalo needs to take this issue seriously.
