It appears we are about to spend $2.7 Billion to knock down a perfectly good stadium to build.... another stadium!! I have not spoken to ONE person who thinks this is a good idea, all in aid of a 2-week sporting event that is 9 years away.

We need to petition the Queensland Government and the Federal Government to consider alternatives.  Such as low-income housing. Better road infrastructure. Propping up Medicare. Support for our teachers and schools. 

Just imaging two thousand and seven hundred piles of $1 million dollars each. To build a stadium. And that number will blow out to 4,000 piles of $1 million.
