The team of staunch supporters are working very hard behind the scenes. The information we gather on a daily basis will become public knowledge very soon!! The environment agency is going through the applicants permit application and will decide where they will put their red line permit boundary within the next few days, at some point next week the application will go live and this will start the 4 week consultation period. The consultants who have bothered to visit the site and view from our perspective have been very helpful and have shown a genuine interest for all concerned. The support we have received from this petition has been quite amazing and thought provoking, the overriding factor being the welfare of the hens, although this is not a planning issue, the growing industrialisation of farming, the continued threat of inappropriate green field developments and the threat to animal and human health will most certainly carry weight at any planning hearing. We encourage all to object to this planning application, the more objections we have to show the permit team the better, this is very important and will also enable us to have a committee site meeting if we can get 300 plus objections, currently we need another 174, please share and object, we are counting on you.
