The site is located in an area where we could reasonably expect a level of amenity concurrent with the properties in which we live. The use of the site as an industrial free range egg farm introduces a diverse element that by reason of its use is likely to result in noise, disturbance and nuisance to the detriment of its neighbour’s and villagers residential amenity. The proposed development by reason of its size, Layout, Siting and massing will have an unacceptably adverse impact on the amenities of the properties immediately adjacent to the site and the surrounding area by reason of loss of privacy and visually overbearing impact. The historical run-off issues and the contamination of drinking water supplies will not be controlled by the construction of the ridge and furrow system, this will not stop the contaminated surface water leaching through to the ground water and entering bore holes.
