In an act of cruelty and blatant violation of human rights, a group of brave human rights defenders now face imminent forced deportation from Pakistan — a decision that is nothing less than a death sentence. These courageous individuals have already endured imprisonment, torture, and brutal abuse at the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan. They fled to Pakistan seeking sanctuary, but now, they are being thrown back into the jaws of death.

These defenders have dedicated their lives to the fight for freedom, justice, and human dignity. Today, the international community stands at a historic crossroads: Will it allow the voices of resistance and hope to be silenced by brutality?

We urgently and unequivocally call on Amnesty International, the United Nations, Front Line Defenders, and all institutions that claim to uphold human rights to act immediately.

Deporting these individuals would not only be a gross violation of international asylum law but a direct collaboration with the Taliban’s machinery of terror and oppression.

Every second of delay is a step closer to tragedy.
