We, the undersigned residents of Schoongezicht, Vierlanden, and surrounding areas, formally petition for urgent intervention regarding the severe fly infestation and unsanitary conditions that seem to be emanating from 37 Herta Erna Street, Vierlanden, Durbanville.   

Due to improper manure management, an excessive number of horses, and additional livestock such as chickens, rabbits, and geese, the fly population has become unbearable and has reached epidemic proportions. 

Due to the infestation, residents cannot enjoy their homes, gardens, or outdoor spaces, and the risk of disease transmission has escalated to alarming levels.

We demand the following actions:

1. A thorough health and environmental inspection of the property.
   Enforcement of proper manure and waste management protocols.
   Confirmation of the legality of Camelot Riding School operating in a residential zone.  
2. Stricter regulations on the keeping of livestock within residential areas.
3. Immediate action to reduce the fly infestation affecting surrounding properties.

We, the undersigned, insist that the City of Cape Town take immediate steps to resolve this issue, as our health and quality of life are being severely impacted.
