It feels unsafe for locals, tourists, and young families to visit the naturally beautiful Berry Head Quarry. This is due to the aggressive behavior and daily rubbish dumping by people fishing unchecked at this location. They have now monopolized this fishing spot.

We call for it to be illegal to fish at Berry Head Quarry without a permit, with all proceeds besides administrative costs going to the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust (TCCT). Additionally, we seek a limit on the amount of fishing done on a weekly basis, and a ban on nighttime fishing at the quarry. Hefty fines should also be imposed for dumping rubbish.
