Dear All,
The photo shows a view of Trelawney Road, Falmouth that will never be quite the same again from tomorrow, 26th March 2025 if Cornwall County Council proceeds with its intention to fell three of the lime trees that have lined the pavement for over sixty years.
Everyone is welcome to stand with us at 7am to show our respects to these beautiful trees that will never be in leaf again or provide homes for wildlife of all kinds. We know that 7am is early but when the trees are gone, they are gone. Let's mark this sad, sad day together.
We will continue to hold Cornwall County Council to account regardless of the felling. That, of course, makes it much worse for them. They have provided no valid reason for felling three, healthy trees in a Conservation Area. They can chop the trees down but we won't go away.
See you tomorrow at 7am
Thank you for your support, it is so very much appreciated.
