Stop the Fayetteville Data Center Construction Now
The Issue
Hey y'all, I'm Malia, your favorite Fayetteville plug, and I've got something real important to discuss with you. There's been a lot of chatter about the proposed data center here in Fayetteville, and let's be honest—most of us think it's a terrible idea! Despite our community's clear stance, some of our city officials, including our mayor, are ignoring our voices. This is our chance to change that.
Our community is united in opposing this data center. Three of our city council members are with us, but we need more. Last night, I watched a video that talked about a way for us to work together and remove officials who don't act in our best interest. These are the ones who won't listen to us and vote against what we want. It's time for them to recognize that we elected them to serve us, not their own agendas.
This isn't just talk. It's our city and our community—one we all love and want to protect. If local leaders won't respect that, we need to make our voices heard loud and clear. What other reason do they have to ignore us unless it's for political or monetary gain? It's not right, and we won't stand for it.
We're calling on everyone in Fayetteville to take just two seconds to sign this petition. It's simple, it's quick, and it's our way of telling the city council members that we don't want a data center disrupting our community. Let’s make sure they vote in our favor instead of their own.
Fayetteville, we can do this. Click that link, put your signature down, and let's make sure our community's voice is heard. It's time for change. Sign the petition now!
