Press Release from the City of Culver City (November 15, 2017):
The City Council of the City of Culver City thanks U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein for her letter to Federal Aviation Administration Administrator Michael Huerta. The Senator’s letter highlights the serious concerns Culver City residents and surrounding neighborhoods have raised regarding significant impacts from flight path changes under the FAA’s NextGen program. The City of Culver City is continuing its efforts to reach out to members of the U.S. Congress for their aid in addressing noise and air quality impacts and other issues, which have occurred following the implementation of NextGen. The City is looking forward to the continued assistance of Senator Feinstein and other legislators, including Representative Karen Bass, in our ongoing efforts to sustain a favorable quality-of-life for Culver City, and all of California.
