Stop the Exploitation of Animals at Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo

The Issue

Every year in February the Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo comes into town and hosts their event at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo continues to use animals for so-called "entertainment." This event includes bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, and barrel racing. Tragically, the horses, bulls, and steers involved often suffer broken ribs, backs, and legs, torn tails, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, ripped tendons, torn ligaments, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths.

The Humane Society of the United States reports that rodeos are a source of stress and fear for animals due to rough handling (HSUS). We must stand against this cruel treatment of animals in our city and everywhere!

Let's send a clear message that St Paul residents will not tolerate animal cruelty in our community. Sign this petition to demand an end to animal exploitation at Cinch World's Toughest Rodeo!

Add to the pressure by contacting Xcel Energy Center and encourage them to only host cruelty free events at their venue. Let them know that animals are forced to participate in the rodeo, putting unnecessary stress and harm on the animals. Xcel doesn't need to benefit financially from cruelty to animals and can refuse to host them.
