The State of Idaho would like to spend several million dollars to expand North Beach. This will have a huge impact on the small community of St Charles. It's already insanity during the summer months, on our little roads, canyons, highways and our community. We do not have the services to accomodate such an expansion. We do not have the emergency services available to handle such an expansion. Our little town is already over run by vacationers. The many people that already come is putting a huge burden on the community. We cannot handle the thousands that are already coming. What happens when there are thousands more? How will it effect the residents who live here? Farming and running cattle around the tourists and traffic is already difficult. Locals can't even enjoy the beaches at all during the summer. The state is just seeing dollar signs with all the people that get turned away. With the expansion of North Beach all that we will see is double the traffic, double the trespassing, double the littering. It will only be made worse by the expansion of North Beach.
