The Issue

RIGHT NOW, Iranian doctors are in prison cells awaiting execution for the "crime" of saving lives.

Medical professionals in Iran are facing arrest, torture, and execution simply for fulfilling their ethical obligation to treat injured patients. According to reports from January 2026, multiple doctors have been detained for treating protesters or documenting their injuries. Some face imminent execution.

This Violates International Law:

Medical neutrality is protected under the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law

Healthcare workers have a duty to treat all patients regardless of political circumstances

Targeting medical personnel for providing care constitutes a grave violation of human rights

We Demand:

1-Immediate halt to all executions of detained healthcare workers

2-Unconditional release of all doctors and medical staff imprisoned for treating patients

3-Independent international monitors be granted access to detention facilities

4-Public condemnation from WHO, UN, and international medical organizations

5-Targeted sanctions against officials responsible for these violations

6-Protection guarantees for all medical personnel in Iran

Medical care is not a crime. Doctors who treat the wounded are protected under international law and must not face persecution or death for upholding their Hippocratic Oath.

The international community must act NOW before more lives are lost.
