Dear supporters,
First of all I would like to thank you very much for the great number of signatures and your support. Over 50,000 signatures would not have been possible without your help! With this petition we reach more and more people, which is so important for Amir, Said and Mohammad right now! Please continue sharing the petition: www.change.org/novemberprotests !
Now, to the less pleasant news: The death sentences against Amir, Said and Mohammad are still standing. Their physical condition and state of health are deteriorating. Amir Hossein is said to have been so badly affected by months of torture that he can no longer speak! He and all the others are being denied medical help needed urgently.
I have written to all the decision-makers of this petition again and urgently asked them to increase pressure on the Iranian government! Thanks to all of you who wrote to the decision makers again (see previous updates).
Additionally - and to leave no stone unturned - I suggest to write to the Iranian judiciary chief (Mr. Ebrahim Raisi) by mail or e-mail!
I have prepared the following text proposal (in English). You can send the text to info@iranbotschaft.de and iranunorg@mfa.gov.ir*. Alternatively you can also send it by mail (address is in the text). This will further increase the pressure!
* Note: The e-mail iranunorg@mfa.gov.ir might not work. Please try the additionally this email: info@iranbotschaft.de .
A change of subject can also help to avoid possible blockings (try to avoid critical words like "death penalthy", e.g. only mention the names of the affected persons or your own name in the subject)
Text proposal (e-mail/mail/ to Ebrahim Raisi):

Subject: Amir Hossein Moradi, Said Tamjidi and Mohammad Rajabi
Dear Mr Raisi,
I support the following petition: www.change.org/novemberproteste , which has over 50,000 supporters. I call for the immediate release of Amir Hossein Moradi, Said Tamjidi and Mohammad Rajabi, who were sentenced to death mid-February 2020 in connection with their participation in the November protests of 2019. According to the media, Iran's Supreme Court recently confirmed this verdict.
Their trials did clearly not meet international standards for fair trials. During the investigation they had no access to legal counsels and were reportedly tortured. Amirhossein Moradi claims that he was forced to make a "confession".
I hereby urge you to immediately lift the death sentences against Amir Hossein Moradi, Said Tamjidi and Mohammad Rajabi and to grant them fair trials without using the death penalty. I also ask you to guarantee them access to medical care. Please take measures to ensure that "confessions" that have allegedly been obtained under torture and other ill-treatment are not presented, sent or used as evidence in court.
I sincerely hope that a humane and fair treatment of accused people is possible in Iran!
Yours sincerely
