Upzoning was introduced as statewide legislation by Senators Moe Maestas and Heather Berghmans with support from District 7 City Councilor Tammy Fiebelkorn.  One of their major rezoning bills SB-131 was shelved in committee.  

There are other bills like HB-0103. HB-0138, and SB-0128.  So please write and say no to these.

The final hearing for ABQ Upzoning is still going to happen on Wednesday 2/18, 5pm at city hall.  Please be sure to continue to write your city councilors and if possible show up to comment.  Councilor Fiebelkorn went to the state and showed support for the statewide upzoning bill while the process of the IDO zoning updates in Albuquerque are still ongoing.  We need to let our city councilors know that this is unacceptable and we do not support her actions and we do not support Upzoning!
