Thank you all for the continued signatures and show of support. The last LUPZ meeting emphasizes the importance of emailing your city councilors and keeping the petition strong.  Please keep emailing the city council and spreading the petition among neighbors, friends, and family who live in Albuquerque.

There will be another LUPZ hearing on 1/28 at City Hall 5pm. Sign up for comment here .

Remember what is STILL at stake:

-Forced rezoning on thousands along mass transit corridors and activity centers that allows for higher property taxes, impacting seniors and low income families.
-Removal of community notice, input, and self-determination.
-No guarantees against private equity/ developer price speculation.
-No mandated affordable housing of any kind
-No planning for water or environmental impacts.
-No measures against apartment and rental ownership by major investment corporations.
-No Anti-Displacement measures.
-No protection for low-income tenants.
-No impact studies on racial inequity.

Please continue to keep the messaging strong to our elected officials.

Thank you!
