Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition.  In 48 hours we crossed 100 signatures, which is an amazing achievement!

Despite great progress, our petition caught the attention of a nationally financially backed organization called Strong Towns who are pushing for Upzoning.  They have their own petition and are distributing misinformation like saying that casitas are illegal here, which they aren’t.

The heat is on.  We can’t allow national monied interests to attempt to sweep our community voices under the rug.  This is a David and Goliath situation here.

We need to continue to get the word out about this and we need your help.  

Please share this petition everywhere you can.  On Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky, Nextdoor.  Everywhere.  We have to flood the  feeds with our message.

I am not a monied interest in this and stand to gain nothing.  I’m just someone who lives here and wants community voices to be included when massive changes to our homes are proposed.  I believe in the potential of Albuquerque.
