A key part of the St. Kilda community, St Kilda Celts is a soccer club that is proud to be from the area and has represented Port Phillip with pride since its inception in 2011.

Through unparalleled success in rushing through the state leagues in the club's short history, St Kilda Celts grew to be an integral part of the area's sporting landscape. However, the club ran into difficulties through the Covid-19 pandemic and had to take a year out of the league to restructure.

Having played our games at Elwood Park throughout our history without any issue, Port Phillip Council assured the club that it would be able to resume there for the 2022 season as planned without any issue. The Council are now hesitating to grant the Celts the permission previously agreed to continue at the ground, leaving the Celts without adequate facilities for a state league club.

The club has been through a lot over the last few years and has maintained and flourished purely due to the hard work and dedication of a loyal base of volunteers and amazing support from the local community.

We must pressure Port Phillip Council to live up to the promises made and allow the St Kilda Celts to remain in their home for the upcoming 2022 season.

A loss of our home would have a catastrophic impact on the club's survival and future development. We are asking for your help in keeping St. Kilda's premier soccer club thriving.
