Stop the Euthanization of Granola the German Shepherd

Stop the Euthanization of Granola the German Shepherd
The Issue
Granola is a 9 years old German Shepherd who was found wandering in the Bronx's rain-soaked streets a few weeks ago. Despite the harsh conditions and a muzzle on, Granola managed to survive until rescued by local authorities who sedated her and took her to an Animal Control center. Unfortunately, without intervention, Granola is scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow.
This is a heartbreaking situation which further highlights the plight of stray animals in the city. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 670,000 dogs are euthanized annually in the United States, a staggering reality that could soon claim Granola's life too.
We are calling on animal lovers, pet rescuers, and compassionate citizens around the world to raise awareness about Granola's plight. Granola deserves a chance to find a loving, forever home. By putting the spotlight on her story, we can potentially find her a caring and loving home, while also shining a light on the larger issue of the fate many stray dogs face.
Stand with us, defend Granola's right to live, and help us reform policies surrounding the treatment of stray and abused animals. Sign our petition to delay Granola's euthanization and give her a chance to be adopted. Please sign this petition for Granola. Together, we can make a difference.
