Dear Supporters,

Despite 1,545 of us signing this petition and nearly 3,000 residents raising concerns, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) does not want to allow us to debate the Esquire Development at the full council meeting on 26th February in a fair and democratic way.

Meantime, we are in crises - there was yet another traffic accident on the corner of Forrest Rd and Birling on Monday this week and another 40 homes have been added to Esquire's development plan.  Further, we are hearing that Wealden is planning to rule on this development on 26th Feb 2025.  

This is unacceptable. Our voices must be heard. The impact of this development – on our environment, infrastructure, traffic, and overall quality of life – is too serious to be dismissed.

Demand that The Green Weald Alliance is given the right to speak at the full council meeting. Our elected representatives must listen to the people they serve!
