Today, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we are reminded that moral leadership is defined not by convenience, but by clarity.
Dr. King stood for justice rooted in truth. He understood that history matters, that facts matter, and that the pursuit of freedom must be anchored in moral integrity. That is why he stood proudly with the Jewish people and with Israel. He recognized the rebirth of the Jewish state not as a political narrative, but as the fulfillment of an ancient promise affirmed in international law on May 14, 1948.
Dr. King aligned himself with good.
He aligned himself with dignity, with faith, and with the belief that dreams are realized when people are willing to stand for what is right, even when it is difficult.
Our campaign to secure 78,000 registrations recognizing Declaration Day is rooted in that same conviction. We are insisting that governments, institutions, educators, and leaders acknowledge historical fact rather than allow truth to be distorted or erased. Declaration Day is not symbolic. It marks the moment when the Jewish people’s ancestral and biblical connection to the Land of Israel was recognized in modern international law.
On this day, we call on you to recommit.
To use your voice.
To stand on fact.
To protect historical integrity for this generation and the next.
As Dr. King taught us, each of us can have a dream—but dreams endure only when people are willing to defend them.
Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for standing with history.
And thank you for helping ensure that Declaration Day is recognized this year, and every year.
Please continue sharing this petition and encouraging others to sign. Together, we can reach 78,000 voices strong.
