One of the biggest impacts you can have on the future of data centers in Hancock County is to VOTE!

The most important offices for this particular data center are Commissioner, the group responsible for ultimately approving or disapproving of the EQT data center, and the County Council, responsible for any tax breaks the data center is seeking. We were told at the EQT open house that if the data center did not get approved any tax abatement, the project would be dead.
For Commissioner, we need Jordan Coleman (D) to win and for County Council (depending on what district you’re in) we need Anthony Arnold (D) district 1 or Carol Pearson (D) district 3 to win. All three of these candidates have endorsed the petition and you can see their comments on it.
