Due to the dumping of waste and sewage into the Indian River Lagoon, not only is the quality of life for the wildlife dropping, but many animals including fish, dolphins, manatees, and birds are at risk of becoming sick, or even dying. This affects not only the wildlife, but the natural beauty of this ecosystems. This also affects the many fishermen and businesses who rely on the lagoon for work. 

If nothing changes, the lagoon will continue to become even more harmful for the wildlife, and may get to the point where we cannot enjoy the natural joy that it could bring. Fishing may be no more, swimming might become to nasty and risky, boat rides may come to an end, etc. 

Now is the time to act, as we have waited to long, my community fears a lagoon that will be damaged beyond repair. Sign this petition so Brevard will see the damage and hopefully do something about this major problem.
