"Duke Energy's proposed transmission line from Campobello to Asheville, N.C., has left the real estate market in the Carolina Foothills in limbo. The 45-mile preferred route won't be unveiled until early October, leaving potential buyers with questions that local real estate agents can't answer. Lydia Kolbas of Sarasota, Fla., visited several properties Monday in Landrum and Tryon, N.C., with Keller Williams real estate broker Linda Tinkler in hopes of finding a new place to live. Kolbas said the Duke project is weighing on her decision. "I'm just not that quick to move right now," she said.
