We want to start this update by expressing our deepest and sincerest gratitude to you all who have signed this very important petition. We are sending an open call to all Punjabi's to join us!

Our goal for this petition is 10,000 signatures. We are asking everyone to please have all the members of your household sign this petition. There is no limit to how many people in 1 household can sign a petition on change.org. So please continue to spread this petition to all your family and friends and people in your social network. It's extremely important that the voice of the Punjabi people is heard. We are very hopeful that this petition and our larger Punjabi Language Movement is going to have a pivoting point very soon and will take off and become the voice and representation of the 120 Million Punjabi people in Pakistan. 

As we said before, stopping the division of Punjab is a must. We cannot allow any government to divide Punjab. It is illegal and unconstitutional. The people of Punjab must have their say. We are a 7,000 year old civilization whose language, culture, and way of life and identity is being stripped in front of us. There are already talks and demands for further divisions of provinces in Pakistan to be divided and become new provinces. Punjab is the first and most fragile domino which we cannot let fall. The stability of Punjab is the stability of Pakistan.

We the PLM also demand that Punjabi be taught in Schools, Universities, and be the official language of Punjab along with Urdu. 

You, who are the initial supporters have proved your sincerity and loyalty to Punjab and the Punjabi language. We are overwhelmed with joy to see Punjabi's from all over the world supporting our cause.

This is the time to keep moving forward. We must maintain this momentum and make it grow. We ask you once again to please spread this petition and have it signed by everyone.
