Salam Everyone, to start off we want to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks for those who have signed and those who are considering signing this petition, to protect and preserve our beloved Punjab. Moving forward there has  been much going on since we launched this petition a week ago. Just recently we have received updates that the Governor of the Punjab has said that he wants to present a bill, to the Pakistan National Assembly to make the "South Punjab" an official province, despite not having a 2/3rds vote. Which makes the very bill completely unconstitutional. Secondly they have decided to double the salaries of the South Punjab Secretariat employees, even though the secretariat itself is not fully operational. This is exactly what we knew was going to be happen, its a big money and power grab. This is all happening without the approval of the Punjabi people and without a constitutional process. Even though they are already pushing for a fully operational "South Punjab" secretariat, they are also working swiftly and illegally to create a "South Punjab" province.
