Stop the discontinuation of Fuji 3000b Instant Film by Fujifilm
As of 11/14/13, Fujifilm announced the following via email from a USA rep:
"Please be advised that FP-3000B is being discontinued, as a result of decreases in world-wide global demand. We know that the discontinuation of a well-loved and long established product can be difficult to adjust to. We appreciate your interest in this product, and will be reporting your comments."
Yes, perhaps global demand HAS decreased but there is a wonderful and eager niche market of instant film photographers that love 3000b and use it regularily. When Polaroid discontinued their film production it was thought that the medium would completely disappear. The Impossible Project came along and developed their own version of the Polaroid film and they are doing very well and launch new products and film on a consistent basis.
There IS a market for this film. We ARE out here using it and supporting it. If you believe in instant film and want to continue to use it, please sign this petition and lets reverse this decision by Fujifilm. Lets show them that they are wrong and that there IS a devoted and loyal market out there.
