Dear Supporter

Our campaign for Twane to remain in the UK and to  be granted British citizenship has gained support from members of parliament (MPs) across political parties.

A letter to the Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, initiated by Twane's MP, Preet Gill, has been signed by a cross party group  of MPs.

The letter draws attention to our petition and calls for a meeting to discuss the broader implications of Twane's treatment for other Commonwealth citizens.

We thank Preet Gill MP for her continued support and all the MPs who have signed the letter.

We have had continued dialogue about  Twane's case with the Jamaican High Commissioner who has also taken an interest in Twane's case.

Yesterday  the High Commissioner met with families of those deported or detained and he has called for deportations to Jamaica to be halted until the British Government concludes it's investigation into the Windrush Scandal.

Thanks to everyone who has signed our petition,  written to  MPs and sent us messages of solidarity.

#TwaneMustStay #TwaneMorgan

 Regards

Zita
