Dear Supporters
This afternoon we received the distressing news from Twane that he has been issued papers by the Home Office booking him on a charter flight to Jamaica on 15th February.
We already knew there was a planned charter flight to Jamaica and suspected that he would be booked on it once he was detained on Wednesday.
A charter flight in this instance is a privately chartered flight for the purpose of facilitating a mass deportation of people to a particular country or geographical area. These flights are a operated by Titan Airways.
This means that others just like Twane who are cooperating with Home Office requirements by signing in will be targeted inhumanely.
Twane who is bipolar and has PTSD was detained when he went to his weekly sign in and transferred to Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre without his meds. He is very distressed. There is a pending medical report for Twane meaning he should not have been taken or booked on a flight until that assessement takes place and the report considered.
Today Twane's 14 year old son, Ramarni together with his auntie Tenisha and his mum plus Rogols and BARAC UK have been doing news interviews calling on the UK government to stop this injustice and let his dad stay in the UK. No child should have to go through this.
Ramarni wanted to share this messsage with you: "My dad Twane has been booked on a charter flight on 15th February. On learning this I phoned my dad. He was very distraught. I need my dad in my life. Thank you to everyone signing this petition."
Ramarni is one of five siblings who will be losing their dad if Twane is deported.
We need your help please to spread awareness of this urgent development.
