Dear Supporters

I attach the immigration removal notice issued to Twane yesterday. The situation is extremely urgent now as Twane can be deported anytime between the evening of 1st February to 15th February.

Support is growing with around 1000 people signing in the past 24 hours. Thank you. We have had national and International news coverage and I am pleased that I have been able to get a barrister to support the Morgan family as we will need to take high court action to challenge the planned deportation of Twane.

In addition the shadow chancellor John McDonnell has agreed to ask urgent questions in parliament (known as PQs) about Twane's plight and also about the fact that the Home Office has booked a charter flight at all to deport what may be 50 or 60 people to Jamaica. Given the Windrush scandal and the fact that the government are still considering the scope of the compensation scheme following the closing of their consultation late last year, we believe it is premature to charter an  entire flight of people who will be either of the Windrush generation or the children and grandchildren of those who are.

Yesterday Twane's family together eith his lawyer and I were interviewed on an Internationally broadcasted news programme which you can watch here;
