Thank you to everyone who has signed. Ken is now back home following his successful bail hearing, thanks to your support. However, his future still hangs in the balance. As he has not yet been granted asylum, he could still be sent for deportation at any time.

Over 99,000 of you have now signed your support for Ken, and he is incredibly thankful for each and every one of you. Getting to 100,000 signatures would be incredible, and it would send a strong message to the Home Office that deporting Ken is absolutely wrong. Please continue to share this petition via email, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media and help us reach the 100,000 milestone.

Ken's case is part of a deeply concerning trend of increasing numbers of LGBT+ asylum seekers being denied asylum by the Home Office. Recent figures show that the numbers of LGBT+ asylum seekers being denied asylum in the UK has risen by 52% in just three years.

We have now raised over £7,000 towards the cost of Ken's legal fees. Thank you to everyone who has donated. This money will really make a difference to him getting the legal support that he needs to be granted asylum here in the UK. We are very close to hitting our target of £8,000. Please help us get to our goal by donating through our crowdfund.

The process of getting Ken asylum will take time. It is important to be aware that there may be weeks where there his situation does not change much. However, the threat of his deportation is ever present, and this threat could become more serious at any time. We ask that you continue to support him over the coming months, as your continued help will be needed during this process

Many thanks,

Andrew
