Dear supporters,

There is good news and bad news. The good news is that after 16 months in prison, Marcus was finally given immigration bail on 17th February to come home and be with me and the children. It is wonderful to have him home. We have been on family walks, gone rock climbing, played music together and had a family party. The house feels complete again and some of the knots in my stomach have disappeared.

But sadly not all of them. Because despite being given bail, Marcus's deportation order still hangs over all of us. Marcus has to wear a heavy electronic tag on his ankle to track his every move which he has to charge for 2 hours a day sitting next to a wall. And we wait every day for a trial date when one judge could determine all of our futures.

Deportation doesn't just punish Marcus, it punishes his whole family, his friends and his community. We surely don't deserve this? How can this be fair?

So please, please help us. I am trying to get this petition up to 250,000 so we can show a judge that a quarter of a million people are against Marcus's deportation.  If you haven't already shared this petition, please could you do it today?  Please, could you get 10 more people to sign? If everyone did that, we would be well over a million. But they won't because they are not all reading this update like you are. If you are reading this and you could get just a few more people to sign, you might make all the difference to the outcome of Marcus's trial.
