Today, Marcus will spend his second birthday in prison for peacefully protesting against oil and gas expansion. We can't send in presents or even coloured cards.

Like Marcus, Louise is a climate activist and musician. Like Marcus, she has tried through the power of protest and song to get the government to hear our message. Marcus continues to work hard to make positive change wherever he is. He has started a prison choir for other inmates. So he's not only standing up for the most basic of human rights - a livable planet for all. But he is improving our prison system and the lives of people incarcerated at the same time.
