Fort Liberty Playland has been a staple in our community for 25 years. The community worked together and put in their blood sweat and tears to create this unique and beautiful playground for our children. For the last 25 years it has been enjoyed by children of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Some who played on it and enjoyed it as children are even bringing their children to it now. It has brought happiness to generations of people.

  It is a unique playground in that it is made solely of wood. The way that is was built and constructed has made it perfect for children to climb and play on. Liberty Township wants to replace it with a new metal and plastic playground. The truth is there is a metal and plastic playground down the trail by Fort Liberty that hardly gets used because the children would rather play on Fort Liberty. If we replace Fort Liberty with the metal and plastic disaster, hundreds of children will lose their favorite spot in the community. And we will all lose an important and emotional part of our community history. 

  As citizens of our community and this state of Ohio, we deserve to have a say in what are tax dollars pay for. If you want to save Fort Liberty from demolition and put our money to use in revamping it instead of destroying and replacing it. Please sign our petition!
