As the Board of Trustees approaches its decision on whether to renew President Faimous Harrison's contract, the message remains clear: Wenatchee Valley College needs a change in leadership.
In less than three years, WVC has experienced nearly 50% staff turnover, morale challenges, and declining confidence in campus leadership. These concerns have been shared by many in the community through multiple channels. Governance of a public college must serve the community’s interests and uphold transparency, not operate as a private endeavor of the board.
Based on these ongoing concerns, we believe it is in the college's best interest not to renew President Harrison's contract and instead begin the process of finding new leadership focused on transparency, collaboration, and student success.
Thank you for continuing to share and support this effort for positive change. Please keep sharing this petition and encouraging others to make their voices heard before the Board's decision.
