Friends of Downtown Menlo Park,

We’re going to the ballot!

After our volunteers collected 150% of the needed signatures, City Council had little choice but to unanimously place our Citizens' Initiative on the November 2026 ballot.

Now the future of the downtown parking plazas will be up to Menlo Park voters!

This didn’t happen by accident. It happened because residents spoke up, signed petitions, wrote letters, stood at the podium, and refused to be ignored. We took action, and we earned a vote.

But now comes the hard part: we have to win the vote.

Well-funded outside interests will spend heavily to defeat us. We need to work quickly to get our message out first.

That is why we’ve set a goal of raising $50,000 in the next week. Doing so will enable a strong start to our campaign.

Please click here to make a donation right now.

  • Every contribution helps.
  • If you can’t donate now, make a pledge here.
  • What matters most is standing together early and visibly.

With your help, we can ensure that the residents of Menlo Park - not Sacramento, not developers, not consultants - decide the future of our downtown.

With gratitude and determination,
Save Downtown Menlo

P.S. Our immediate goal of $50,000 in the next week will ensure a strong start to the campaign. Please donate now or make a future pledge. Every contribution matters.

And please share this message!
