Last week at City Hall, we filed our Notice of Intent for our ballot initiative to safeguard the downtown parking plazas, cheered on by some 50 supporters from our community. We’re gratified to have also received a lot of positive press attention.
Soon we will be receiving back a Title and Summary from the City Attorney, and then the process will begin in earnest. We’ll need to collect over 2,000 signatures from registered Menlo Park voters.
And you can help!
We will have tables at downtown businesses that you can help staff. Or you can collect signatures on your own using forms and a clipboard we will provide. You don’t need to be a Menlo Park resident to collect signatures – you just need to be at least 18 years old.
