Dear Supporter,

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to you every one l who has taken the time to sign and support our petition. Thanks to your incredible support, we've reached two significant milestones in a very short time - the first 50 and then 100 signatures! This is a testament to our collective concern and commitment to safeguarding the quality of education in Glasgow.

We’re fast approaching the 200 signatures milestone. Let’s make sure we sail right past that one too, and onwards.

Each signature is a voice added to our chorus, calling for the protection of our teachers' jobs and the maintenance of the current level of teaching staff. Sharing the petition with your friends, family, and on social media is a powerful way to help us reach every milestone and amplify our message.

The stakes couldn't be higher. This petition isn't just about numbers on a page; it's about real people - dedicated teachers whose jobs are at risk, and children whose futures depend on the quality of education they receive today. If we remain silent now, the council may interpret our silence as consent, paving the way for further cuts. We cannot let that happen. Education is a treasure that should be protected and nurtured, deserving of increased funding, not reductions that threaten its very foundation.

Let's remind ourselves why we're here: to protect not just the jobs of those who educate, inspire, and support our children, but to safeguard the standard of education for generations to come. Each teacher's role is invaluable, impacting countless lives beyond the classroom. The thought of losing even one teacher to budget cuts is heartbreaking and goes against everything we believe education should stand for.

By sharing this petition, you're not just spreading the word; you're standing up for what's right, and making a clear statement that education matters, teachers matter, and our children's futures matter.

Let's continue to push forward, reach our next milestone, and show that we will not stay silent. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can protect the future of education in Glasgow and send a clear message to councils right across the U.K. that cuts to our children’s education won’t ever be an acceptable proposal.

Thank you once again for your support and dedication. It means the world to us, and more importantly, to the future of our children.

With sincere gratitude,

Michael Sherriff
