* **Financial Support for Transition:** Provide a 5-year financial subsidy to farmers who want to stop growing tobacco/arecanut and switch to safer crops (like fruits, vegetables, or millets).

* **Skill & Market Linkage:** Give farmers free seeds, modern training, and direct market access so their income doesn't suffer during the transition.

* **A Complete Ban on Gutka:** Once a structured support system is in place for farmers, enforce a complete nationwide ban on the production and sale of gutka.

जब भी देश में गुटका बैन करने की बात आती है, तो दलील दी जाती है कि *"लाखों किसानों की रोजी-रोटी का क्या होगा?"* लेकिन क्या किसी की रोजी-रोटी का रास्ता दूसरों की मौत की घाटी से होकर जाना चाहिए? बिल्कुल नहीं! 

 

हम किसानों के खिलाफ नहीं हैं, हम उनके साथ हैं। हमारी मांग बहुत सीधी और स्पष्ट है: 

 

* **मुहावरा नहीं, मुआवजा दें:** जो किसान तंबाकू या सुपारी की खेती छोड़ना चाहते हैं, सरकार उन्हें नई फसल (जैसे फल, सब्जियां, मोटे अनाज) लगाने के लिए शुरुआती 5 साल का आर्थिक सहारा (Transition Subsidy) दे।

* **मिट्टी और जिंदगी सुधारें:** किसानों को वैकल्पिक खेती के लिए मुफ्त बीज, खाद और ट्रेनिंग दी जाए ताकि उनकी जमीन भी बची रहे और घर भी चलता रहे।

* **भविष्य सुरक्षित करें:** जैसे ही किसान आत्मनिर्भर हों, देश में गुटका और तंबाकू के उत्पादन पर पूरी तरह ताला लगा दिया जाए।
