To: Smith County Commissioners & Texas Department of Transportation Residents of Smith County have long witnessed the dangers posed by the intersections at Farm Market Rd 2767 (Old Kilgore Highway) with RM Roads 2908 and 757. With numerous accidents—including fatal ones—it is evident that action is needed. The primary issue is the absence of effective traffic control. Drivers approaching from certain directions lack clear signals, resulting in confusion and collisions. We propose the installation of additional stop signs, flashing signals, or other preventative measures to ensure safer roads for all.
