Megafarms in the USA have already proven to be a scourge to animals, the land and local communities: do not follow the American agricultural nightmare. China have already followed due to their increased demand for pig meat, let's not follow these ghastly precedents as the current agricultural model in this country is frankly debased enough. 

'Frankenchickens' (fast-growing breeds of chicken), artificially inseminated cows, gassed pigs and chickens, the almost medieval level of abuse of animals continues apace. Please do not let a company such as Cranswick PLC that has brazenly abused animal welfare standards (due to footage captured in their supply chain) time and time again get permission to build a facility that will only multiply the pain and suffering these chickens and pigs will have to endure.

If we care about the treatment of sentient (feeling subjects of a life) animals who are entitled to a life free from oppression then please sign this petition. It is surely not much to ask that it is one thing to demand meat; it is quite another to trample upon the quality of life of animals who have every right to express their natural behaviour and live a life. Thank you for getting onboard rejecting this abomination that will only lead to animal misery, pollution and promotion of compromised mental health for humans who work in these modern-day torture chambers.
