Since our petition started The BBC and 4 other press outlets have covered the story. Councillors are strongly lobbying the council licensing departments. Liam Conlon MP (Penge & Anerley) has emailed Bromley and Steve Reed MP, Government Environment secretary, has emailed both Lambeth and Bromley. BAFTA are getting back to me and the BBFC have been very helpful. 

Yet the councils are still digging their heels in. They refuse to bow to common sense. For 16 years these very depts have allowed us to rate our own films to BBFC guidelines; 'no child has been harmed' and we've had zero complaints. Why can this not continue? Are they simply profiteering? We are not asking for a machine gun license here.

They need to start serving the community instead of laying down archaic, patronising red tape for money. Thanks again.
