We, as concerned citizens of West Mountain, Utah, oppose the corporate takeover of over 750 acres of our land for a shooting range. This land is currently accessible for various recreational activities like ATV and horseback riding, camping, and hiking, all at no cost. It is also a vital wildlife habitat, home to species such as deer, pheasants, coyotes, foxes, and grazing sheep. Not only does this plan threaten our environment and community with increased fire risk and noise pollution, but it also jeopardizes our open access to these cherished public lands.
