• We, the undersigned residents of Lyon County and concerned Kansans, strongly oppose the construction of a data center for Emporia, Kansas. On June 2nd, 2026, KVOE and the Emporia Gazette released articles discussing about plans announced for a ‘giga-watt’ scale data center without public consultation, an environmental impact statement, or any safety plan shared with residents.

Our Concerns:

• Community Voice Ignored
