أنقذوا المعادي قبل فوات الأوان
تأسست المعادي عام 1905 كمنطقة سكنية خالصة. وقد صُممت بنيتها التحتية ومساحاتها الخضراء ولوائح البناء فيها لتوفير بيئة هادئة وآمنة ومريحة للسكان.

واليوم، أصبحت هذه الرؤية مهددة بالضياع.

إن التحويل غير القانوني للشقق السكنية إلى مكاتب ومقار للشركات يجلب يوميًا آلاف الأشخاص والمركبات إلى شوارع لم تُصمم أصلًا لهذا الحجم من الحركة المرورية. وأصبحت الاختناقات المرورية، والانتظار المزدوج للسيارات، والضوضاء، والتلوث، وتراجع مستوى الأمان جزءًا من الحياة اليومية.

كما تتفاقم المشكلة بسبب تشغيل الميكروباصات داخل المناطق السكنية. وقد أطلق السكان بالفعل عريضة تطالب بنقل موقف الميكروباص في شارع 7:

ونطالب جميع الجهات المختصة بوقف التأجيلات واتخاذ إجراءات حقيقية لتطبيق القوانين القائمة.

أعيدوا للمعادي طابعها السكني الأصلي. أوقفوا الاستخدام التجاري غير القانوني للعقارات السكنية. احموا السكان والبنية التحتية وقيمة الممتلكات.

لقد خُططت المعادي لتكون منطقة سكنية. وحان الوقت للحفاظ على هذا الطابع واستع

Maadi was established in 1905 as a residential district. Its infrastructure, green spaces, and building regulations were specifically designed to create a quiet and safe living environment.
Today, that vision is disappearing.
Illegal conversion of residential apartments into offices and commercial premises is bringing thousands of additional people and vehicles into streets that were never designed for such traffic. Congestion, double parking, noise, pollution, and declining safety have become part of daily life.
The problem is further aggravated by the operation of microbuses within residential areas. Residents have already launched a petition calling for the relocation of the microbus station on Street 7:

We ask all responsible authorities to stop delaying action and to enforce the laws that were created to protect Maadi.
Restore the district's original residential character. End illegal commercial use of residential properties. Protect residents, infrastructure, and property values.
Maadi was planned as a residential community. It is time to restore and preserve it.
