Master Plan Update: Sub-Grade Engineering, Inscribed Steel Preservation, and Resigning Protocal

Thanks to direct input from veteran site workers, tradesmen, and survivors, we have updated The Twin Towers II Restoration Master Plan to address the deep technical and historical realities of Ground Zero:

Sub-Grade Infrastructure Safeguards: The plan now explicitly protects critical underground assets during Phase 1, including the 13,800-volt primary electrical grid, the Vesey Street truck dock slabs, and transit tunnels using heavy-duty load-distribution decking.

Inscribed Steel Preservation: We are implementing a surgical mapping protocol to locate signed tribute steel hidden within current structures. Rather than being shipped away or scrapped, these historical beams will be clear-coated and permanently displayed as focal points in the new public lobbies.

The Resigning Protocol: To honor the trade workers, 9/11 families, and first responders building the new 115-story twin towers, we are establishing a new topping-out tradition. Fresh structural steel will be signed before being hoisted into the horizon—permanently exposed in the main concourses under protective sealant. As the pledge goes: "These names, the names you wrote, will hold these towers aloft."

Unshakeable Resolve: When asked what happens if fear or hostility ever targets the site again, our answer is simple: "We rebuild again. You knock 'em down? We put 'em back up."

We are proving that civic honor, union craftsmanship, and modern engineering can supersede corporate real estate. Thank you for making your voices heard. Let’s keep pushing to give New York her horizon back.
