As a parent, I have seen firsthand the joy that our local paddling pools in Redhill and Christchurch Quomps bring to my children during the summer months. These pools are places where generations of children have made wonderful memories of summer fun playing with their friends.     BCP's budget cuts threaten to shut these beloved community assets down forever.

The proposed closures are part of wider budget cuts impacting Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.     All the cuts are unwelcome but this proposal disproportionately affects our community's youngest members and those families who rely on these pools for low cost recreation opportunities during the school holidays. 

We understand that budgeting is complex and difficult decisions must be made. However, we believe that it is crucial to invest in facilities that contribute significantly to the wellbeing of our community’s families and young people.

Let's stand together against this proposal by signing this petition.  Show BCP council how much we value our paddling pools and splashparks in Redhill and Christchurch Quomps.
