What an incredible moment for our community — together, we’ve reached over 5,000 signatures calling on Falkirk Council to rethink its proposals for Enhanced Provision Units. Every single name represents a family, a child, or a supporter who believes that children with additional needs deserve specialist support, not stripped-back services.
Last week’s protest at Falkirk Stadium was nothing short of inspiring. Parents, carers and allies came together — peacefully, powerfully, and proudly — to make sure our voices were heard. The energy, banners, and sheer determination showed exactly what happens when a community refuses to be ignored.
Our campaign continues to gain momentum — with coverage on Central FM, Forth FM, the Falkirk Herald, the Daily Mail, and multiple features in The Herald helping to shine a national light on what’s happening here in Falkirk. Councillors, MSPs and MPs across parties are now engaging with families, and the message is clear: we will not stand by while vital support is put at risk.
But the fight isn’t over yet.
🗓️ The consultation closes on 27 October — and until then, every voice counts.
➡️ Please keep sharing, talking, and writing to your councillors.
➡️ Encourage others to sign, even if they think “it’s already done.” The bigger the response, the harder it is to ignore.
This campaign has always been about more than signatures — it’s about our children’s right to the support they need to thrive.
Thank you for standing with us. 💙
