The Superintendent has now revised his recommendation and is proposing that Copper Creek students be sent to Wilson K–8 instead of Painted Sky. This is a major change to the original plan and significantly affects capacity, transportation, academic programs, and feeder patterns. Because this new proposal was never presented at a properly noticed public meeting, parents have not had the opportunity to review or respond to it. This is exactly why we are asking the Governing Board to pause the closure process and ensure full transparency, proper notice, and consider community input and alternatives before any final vote.
