Stop the Closure of 417 Bike Park in Cheltenham

Stop the Closure of 417 Bike Park in Cheltenham
The Issue
As a regular user of the 417 Bike Park near Cheltenham, I have seen firsthand how this family-run business has flourished over its eight years of trading. My daughter, who began riding bikes before she was even two years old, and I are among the many who frequent this park. It is one of only a few bike parks that offer an uplift service - an essential feature for younger or less physically able riders like my 12-year-old daughter to enjoy their sport without the strenuous uphill climb.
Now, we face a threat to our beloved park. The Highways Agency plans to enforce measures that could lead to its closure if left unchallenged. This would not only mean losing a valuable local asset but also depriving many individuals of their favourite recreational activity.
The park's closure would impact not just us but also countless others in Witcombe and Gloucester who rely on it for exercise, leisure and community engagement. The loss would be felt deeply within our community.
We urge you to stand with us against these proposed changes by signing this petition. Let's show the Highways Agency how much we value our local bike park and fight for its continued operation!
